Terms & Conditions
To hire any of our products and services please send an email with your date, event address, contact details and the props you wish to hire. We will check availability and come back to confirm further details with you. To book we require a £25 deposit within 7 days of initial booking to secure your date. The deposit is non refundable and will be deducted from the remaining final balance. The full balance is due 4 weeks prior to your event. A £50 breakage deposit is also required, payable on balance, which is refunded within 1 week of the event subject to there being no damage or loss to our props. Payment can be made via BACS, Cheque or Paypal.
The cart/props must not be used for your guests to leave their drinks/glassware on. Our props are professionaly spray painted and will be stained if glassware is placed on the props. Please ensure your guests do not attempt to move any of the props, this should only be done by a member of LB Occasions. Please do not stick any decorations/banners/hooks on the props as this will damage the paintwork. After your event if damage or items are missing costs will be applicable and will be deducted from the deposit, if the cost is greater than the deposit you may be liable to pay further costs.
We cover Cheshire, Staffordshire and the the North West. Delivery and set up is included within a 30 mile radius. An additional charge of 0.40p per mile will then apply and will be detailed fully on our quotation.
Our cart and props can be left from the start to the finish of your event and overnight if your venue permits. We can offer an attendendant/server for your event for up to 3 hours at a cost of £50.00.
Health and Safety
All sweetwear, scoops, and tongs are washed between events and any covers/venue decorations are cleaned where possible. All sweets are handled hygienically with clean scoops/tongs and we always wear disposable gloves when handling any sweets/food. We hold a Level 2 Certificate in Hygiene and Food Handling. Sweet servings are aproximately 100g per serving, donuts are supplied in 24's and cheese is supplied in 1/2 KG's. All sweets/food is purchased fresh for each event and is never re-used and all waste is disposed by us. A copy of our Public Liability Insurance can be supplied upon request. Please note unfortnately we can not guarntee any supplied sweets/food has not come in to contact with nuts and it is your responsibility to advise guests with allergies that nuts may be present, this is present on our booking form. All Children must be supervised at all times by an adult, LB Occasions can not be held responsible for any safety or allergy issues which may occur at any event.
